What makes it tricky
The right hand sits very high, from the D inside the staff up to the D an octave higher, on ledger lines above the treble clef. The left hand plays eighth notes almost nonstop at a quick tempo, which tires the hand and tends to rush.
How to practice it
- Pick Right hand at 50% and practice the opening arpeggios until they are clean and even.
- Pick Left hand and play the repeated notes with a loose wrist. If it starts to feel tight, stop and shake it out.
- Pick Both at 50%, then 75%. Move to 100% only once the left hand stops rushing ahead of the right.
