Pianory
Terms of Service
Last updated:
Pianory is a personal project, made to make daily piano practice feel lighter. By using Pianory you agree to the terms below. I have tried to keep them short and readable.
The service
Pianory helps you keep songs, read scores, learn theory and track your practice. You can use it without an account; an account is only needed to sync across devices.
Pianory has a Free plan with some limits and a Pro plan. Pianory does not currently take payments in the app. If that changes, these terms will be updated before it takes effect.
Your account
- You are responsible for keeping the email or Google account you sign in with secure.
- Each account is for one person. Don't use someone else's account without permission.
- You can delete your account at any time in Settings.
Your content
The songs and lists you add remain yours. You only allow Pianory to store, sync and show them to you so the service can work.
You are responsible for what you upload, including the rights to lyrics, chords or scores. Please do not upload content you have no right to use. If I receive a valid infringement notice, I may remove the content concerned.
Acceptable use
When using Pianory, you agree not to:
- Attack, probe for vulnerabilities in, or overload the service.
- Scrape data automatically or access other people's data.
- Use Pianory to store or distribute unlawful content.
Content that comes with Pianory
Pianory's interface, lessons and source code belong to the creator of Pianory. Some bundled pieces and piano sounds are in the public domain; the Bravura music font is used under the SIL Open Font License.
Availability and liability
Pianory is provided "as is". I work to keep it stable and your data safe, but I cannot promise it will always be available or free of bugs. Keep your own copy of songs that matter to you.
To the extent permitted by law, the creator of Pianory is not liable for indirect damages arising from using, or being unable to use, the service.
Suspension and termination
You can stop using Pianory and delete your account at any time. I may suspend accounts that break these terms. If Pianory shuts down, I will give at least 30 days of notice so you can save your data.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change, the date at the top of the page changes with it. For important changes, I will announce them in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Pianory afterwards means you accept the new terms.
